Contributing artist Lisa Williams led In Session co-contributors on a walking tour of Edinburgh, exploring the cityโ€™s black history. We discussed the oppressive psychic effect of colonial infrastructures as mirrored in architectural design. We listened to stories of anti-racist resistance and learned about histories of inter-racial solidarity. Lisa encouraged us to think about how we can cultivate a decolonial approach to art practice that acknowledges our embeddedness in the structures we are trying to dismantle.โฃโฃโฃ โฃโฃโฃ
