Alison Scott and Rosie Roberts

Alison Scott and Rosie Roberts joined us for the first Session back in June and rejoined us on Saturday for the last Session of the 2021/22 programme for a day of reading, writing and rituals 🍡🗑💌🔥⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Alison and Rosie asked us to explore the range of authorial voices that could be used when describing our time together as In Session to different audiences, in various registers. Building on the question ‘Who is feedback for?’, which they posed to the cohort in their first workshop Alison and Rosie encouraged us to think about anonymity, multivocality and consensus. We created a collective window mural to share our experiences of the past 9 months with the group and did some private auto-destructive reflection. With a cathartic fire ritual we toasted marshmallows, let things go, kept things for ourselves and honored our time together. This posed new questions and allowed us to reach out and feel for the edges in our work together and apart.⁣⁣

There is no outcome, we carry it with us in other forms. ⁣⁣
